Lesson No 83
Ans. Saying twenty Rak’ahs in pairs of two each is the Prophet’s precept. After every Taravih (unit of four Rak’ahs) a little breathing time to be availed is desirable.
Ans. We are free to sit silent or recite the Qur-an slowly, or to repeat some formula or even to say the Nafl Salat individually.
Ans. It is Masnun to recite the whole of Qur-an once in this month. But it is better to do it twice in the month and even more commendable to do it thrice. It must, however, be remembered that reciting the whole of Qur-an twice or thrice during the month is commendable only if no inconvenience is caused to the congregation. No regard should, however, be paid to people’s lack of enthusiasm in going over the whole of the Qur-an one in the month.
Ans. It is undesirable to say Taravih in the sitting position while one has the strength to do it in the normal (standing) position.
Ans. It is an undesirable act. Prayer in congregation must be joined from the beginning.
Ans. Yes, it is permissible. SAYING MISS PRAYERS
Ans. An Qada (on time) prayer is a prayer said on its proper time. Qada (deferred) prayer is a Fard or Wajib prayer said after the lapse of its due time. For example, the Dhuhr Salat will be Ada if said on time. But it will be Qada if said after the expiry of the time limit fixed for Dhuhr.
Ans. Qada for all commanded Salats is Fard’ that for, Wajib Salats is Wajib, and it is the Prophet’s precept to say Qada for certain Masnun Salats.
Ans. It is a sin not to say a commanded (Fard), ordained (Wajib) or an emphasized Masnun prayer on its proper time. The sin is greater for failing to say the commanded and ordained prayers on time, and less for missing the Masnun prayers. Nonetheless, if a prayer is missed without intention (through forgetfulness or failure to awaken from sleep), it is excusable. Please Select the Lessons from Jump Menu |
