Incumbents (wajib) in namaaz

(i) The reading of Qirat. (ii) The reading of Sura Fateha. (iii) The reading of any other Sura or one big verse, or three small verses of the Quran. (iv) Sura Fateha should be read first, followed by other verses or Sura. (v) Performing the Ruku, Sajda, etc., in the correct order. (vi) Standing in Qawmah (standing erect after performing Ruku). (vii) Sitting in Jalsa (sitting in between both Sajdas). (viii) Performing the Ruku, Sajda, etc., calmly and unhurriedly. (ix) Sitting in Qaida after two Rak’ats. (x) The reading of Tashhahud (Attahi-Yaat) in both Oadas, if prayer is of three or four Rak’ats. (xi) Reading Aloud of Qirat by the Imam in the Fajir, Mugrib, Esha, Jumma, Eid, Witr and Tarawih prayers. In all other prayers Qirat should be read silently. (xii) Completing Namaaz with the words “Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatulla.” (xiii) Saying Takbir (Allaho Akber) and the refolding of hands in the Witr prayers before reading Dua-e-Qunut. (xiv) Saying of six extra Takbirs in both I’d Prayers.
