Sunnat prayer and its excellence

Sunnat prayers are those that are said along with the Farz prayers. The former was observed by the Holy Prophet, while the latter was directed by the Holy Quran. The Sunnat prayers are mainly divided into two classes Sunnat-e-Muakhadah and Sunnat-e-Ghair Muakhadah or Nafil. The former was continually observed by the Prophet, while the later only occasionally.
