DUTIES OF THE FOLLOWERS.

It is the duty of the Muqtadis (followers) not to overtake the Imam in standing, bowing, and prostration. If any person joins the congregation after the prayers have begun and advances he must follow the Imam in the condition in which he remains in prayer at that time. He who gets the last rak’at gets the whole prayer, provided he finishes the remaining rak’ats after the Imam closes the prayer with salaam.When the Imam recites
Walad Daullin
The follower, either in silence or in a soft voice, shall recite Ameen When the Imam says
Sami’ a ‘l-Lho liman hamidah
The followers shall recite in silence
Rabbana wa laka ‘ l-Hamd
O! Our Lord, Thine is the praise.
