The Dawn (Al-Falaq)

Bismillah-ir Rahman-ir Rahim.
(1) Qul a’u zu bi-Rabbi ‘l falaq.
(2) Min sharri ma khalaq.
(3) Wa min sharri ghasiqin iza waqab.
(4) Wa min sharri ‘n-naffasati fi ‘l-‘uqad.
(5) Wa min sharri hasidin iza hasad.
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
(1) Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn.
(2) From the evil of what He has created.
(3) And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes.
(4) And from the evil of those who cast (evil suggestions) in firm resolution.
(5) And from the evil of the envious when he envies.
